Renaissance Day Scarperia turns into the Renaissance hamlet which was long ago the seat of the Vicariate.

	Bedded with Flowers On the last Sunday of May the streets of the hamlet are decorated with flowers to form colourful patterns. The petals are arranged inside models made the night before by residents of the hamlet to a theme which changes every year.
	The Knives Exhibition In the Palazzo dei Vicari, tel. 055/8468165 from June to September, knife enthusiasts can admire pieces from public museums and Italian and European collections.
	Collectors’ market On the first Sunday of each month there is market where antiques, second hand and collector’s pieces, stamps and coins are exchanged
