The museum complex of Sant'Agata:
This includes the Romanesque country church, considered to be one of the main religious monuments in the Mugello, and two museums:
1-The Collection of Sacred Art of the Compagnia di San Jacopo in Sant'Agata
2-Centre of archeological documents
The display shows the principal archaeological discoveries of the western Mugello in the long period from the Palaeolithic Age (including artefacts from 200-300 thousand years ago) to the Neolithic Age, right up till the Age of Metals, and continues on to the Age of the Etruscans, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
In the area south of the display and connected to it, the reconstruction of a prehistoric village of natural dimensions has begun. At present, two cabins can be visited: one of Palaeolithic hunters, and one of farmers of the Age of Bronze (approximately 5 thousand years ago).
